I'm doing a study abroad program in France from June to August.
I wanted to go to Paris, but I'm told that everything closes in Paris during August. Should I study in Paris or Nice?...
myself and my fiancee want to go to paris in june for 3 nights. we were able to get really cheap flights so would like a nice budget hotel as with the way the euro is at the minuite eating out and drinking will be expensive.
neva hotel, it's a couple of mins walk from the arc de triomphe. it's right near the champs elysees and after seeing all the sights we were glad to realise it's the nicest area. we'd had lots of people telling us that it would be too expensive to eat on the champs elysees but it's not at all, just what you'd expect in paris at the moment! as for the hotel, it's 3*, nothing special but the staff are friendly and it's everything u need for a short break but nothing more. it's not dirty but it's not luxury either! after all, u don't spend much time in ur room when ur on a city break, it's location location location! we went in january for 3 nights/4 days and spent £450 each, the euro exchange rate is ridiculous! hope u have a great time - we did!
