NO you require your passport when travelling into the UK. You might be able to France (depending on the point of entry) but you will not be able to get back into the UK without this document. Drivers licenses are not recognised as legal identifications in countries that they are not issued by....though some establishments will accept these for drinking you can not use it to enter contries.

I think not ! as you leave the UK you very rarely get asked to show your passport , but coming back we have always been asked to provide it .

Go on spoil yourself and get yourself a passport.

You can get an emergency meeting at the passport office in Peterborough.

Go to the passport website and it tells all.

Hi
Sorry, but you do need a passport.
As many people state, you may get out of the country with no passport, but no chance of getting back in without one.

well one of the attempted london bombers(the people who tried unsuccessfully on June 28th) made it into Europe on the Eurostar without a passport, so fingers crossed

Raj
u need to have pasport with visa if required

Easy A
Nope- you certainly wouldn't be able to exchange money even if you " jumped the fence".

le_coupe
In the current security climate, you'll probably need both........

No, there is no open border agreement between France and the UK.

Kangkid
NO you could probably get to France but you would not be allowed back in.

babyboo_x
Nope, but then again to any other country you may want to travel you are going to need your passeport or if it is within the EU an ID card is sufficient.
