Can anyone explain to me what types of tickets i'd need in paris to travel to and from these places?

hi, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what types of tickets i'd need when i'm in paris to travel around because i'm getting really confused about the metro and rer
i'm going to be arriving at disney station which is in 5h and then getting the train to my hotel which is one stop away, and then a ticket from disney to paris, then going to and from different places in paris during the day moving from different areas to different areas and then a ticket from central paris back to disneyland.
thanks loads :)

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're staying at a hotel just one stop away on the RER from Disneyland. You want to know re ticket to travel between

a) Disneyland and your hotel
b) Disneyland and Paris
c) different destinations in Paris

Let's establish the stations. For Disneyland, it's Marne La Vallee-Chessy, and your hotel would be Val d'Europe.

a) Between Disneyland and hotel
Travel on RER A and buy the ticket at the station. The journey will cost you 1.50euro to travel between the two stations.

b) Between Disneyland and Paris
You could realistically travel directly from the station where your hotel is to Paris, as it lies between Disneyland and Paris. There is no need to go all the way to Disneyland, then trackback again towards Paris.

For this, I would advise getting a 1-day Mobilis for zone 1-5 which costs 12.90euro (http://www.ratp.info/informer/forfait1j.php ). Consider, one-way ticket for Val d'Europe-Paris is 5.75euro and Marne La Vallee-Chessy-Paris is 6.45euro. Two single tickets would already cost you nearly as much as (or equal, in the case of Marne La Vallee-Chessy) the 1-day unlimited travel Mobilis ticket.

If you are under 26 and you're travelling on a weekend or on a bank holiday, you can get Ticket Jeune Weekend (http://www.ratp.info/informer/ticket_jeune.php ) which is half the usual Mobilis rate at 6.40euro.

c) Between different destinations in Paris
You should have got the Mobilis or Ticket Jeune, which offers unlimited travel for the entire day, so you don't need additional tickets to travel between the different places in Paris.

I hope the above information is clear and helpful and if you need any additional information please do not hesitate to ask.

* Edit *
By the way it just occur to me, are you planning to go to Paris just one day, or will you be going to Paris for a number of days? If latter, then do you mind telling us which days/dates will you be visiting? There's possibility of getting an inclusive weekly pass, but there are conditions that you need to know about them, and they're linked to when you travel and how often you travel. Let me know then I can advise you better if it's worth buying the pass or not.

James
The main tickets in the centre are:
T+ (single trip with as many changes as you want) which costs €1.60 and will take you anywhere in zones 1 and 2 using all methods of transport including metro, rer, bus and (if you so need) the trams.
There are two types of day pass for the centre:
the Mobilis which costs €5.60 which can be purchased by anyone at anytime and is valid until the metro shuts that day
and the Ticket Jeune which costs €3.20 and can only be used on weekends or public holidays by people under 26 and has the same effect as the Mobilis. Both tickets are good for all modes of public transport.
To go from Disneyland to Paris and back it's a simple return ticket (actually two single tickets) and shouldn't be too expensive.

If it's for only one day I would advise buying a return ticket from the disneyland station to paris and then once in paris a mobilis or ticket jeune if you're under 26 and it's the weekend or public holiday (day pass) for zone 1 and 2. I say this because a day pass from zone 5 (the zone which disneyland is in) to zone 1 would be very expensive and you will only be taking that train once in each direction.

AND REMEMBER TO LOOK AFTER YOUR TICKET, there is a fine of €50 for anyone without a ticket.

Hope that's helped

I think you should take 1 day pass (zone 1-6) which allows you go by metro and rer through all day. click on the below link for morehttp://www.paris-eiffel-tower-news.com/paris-transport-paris-mobilis-pass.htm
