Gites-de-france is more expensive; I've rented the same place through both a couple of times and invariably the price goes up, also doesn't include travel and is a nightmare to navigate, half the English site just doesn't work.

The page translates into english and you can choose which region you wish to stay in. they have an ears of corn system, which is like the stars system so you know how good the accomodation will be.
