I personally recommend the Hotel St. Andre des Artes at 66 rue St. Andre des Artes in the 6th arrondissement.

I've stayed at this place dozens of times over the last 35 years. Its very basic but very charming.

I disagree with the previous respondent...but of course it depends on your expectations. Paris is a capital city after all and the Euro doesn't help visitors much!

Comfort Inns or Best Westerns are nice and affordable. Also, depending on how long you are staying, check into an apartment. Sometimes you can find a better deal that way. I was there last month and was surprised to find that hotels and apartments near Disneyland were less expensive than some other locations. I would expect them to more.

we booked the printania through venere and only paid €96 for a quad room. i thought it was ok for that price, easy to find and over mcdonalds. hey, what more do you want?

I would recommend the Comfort Inn, on the Vert Gallant, Trembley en France, just to the east of Paris. It's cheap, excellent breakfasts (as much as you want) and very easy to get into Paris from there, and Eurodisney. Also close to the airport, and easy to travel to from the ports. If you travel by Eurotunnel, you can book this hotel through them along with your tunnel crossing.
