I don't know how long-term you're looking for, but the people I knew who stayed there for several weeks used the Pierre et Vacances. I always stayed with families, which was considerably cheaper of course. |

However, I think these may just be vacation rentals. I would say your best bet is to go ahead and book a hotel for a few nights. Once you are actually there, it will be much easier to find an apartment. Aix is a city full of young professionals & college kids and I'm sure there's lots of places for rent. They probably are not advertised online, (if so, probably horribly overpriced). Once there, check the local papers and go to local cafes, they will have listings. |

It is nearly impossible to find something suitable when you can visit so far away it must be awful.
The problem in Aix is that there are more students than accomodations, do of course people are making a lot of money renting things that aren't suitable. But then you might have a nice surprise. It is hard to tell.
