Can french francs still be exchanged.?

I found two 50 franc notes, just curious if they can still be exchanged, if yes where.

sorrry no - donate them to oxfam or similar where they can be sold to collectors (not worth doing it yourself)

Yes you can exchange them during 10 years after 2002, but you unfortunately need to go to the Banque de France in Paris or to any of the banque de France office (http://www.banque-france.fr/gb/instit/histoire/branches.htm) :

It also depends of the version

If it is a blue one, it is exchangeable until 17th february 2012. Otherwise, it is too late.

You can use the following solution to exchange your french banknotes :
by registered mail to :
