I'm afraid that only certain bank notes will be exchanged at the banque de France.

Dead lines are :
Till march 2007, for the 500F « Pascal » ; till april 2008, for the 200F « Montesquieu » ; till january 2009, for the100F « Delacroix ». On the 17th of february 2012, it will be the last day to exchange bank notes in francs : 500F « Pierre et Marie Curie », 200F « Gustave Eiffel », 100F « Paul Cézanne », 50F « Saint-Exupery » and 20F « Debussy ».

at this point in time, your only option is to go to the central bank of france.
They will exchange french francs for Euros, at the exchange rate set at the timne of the conversion.
elsewhere, it 's really difficult.

Bonjour ! Hello from France !
Yes, you can exchange francs in LA BANQUE DE FRANCE :
http://www.banque-france.fr/fr/instit/histoire/page7.htm

on this website, you will find a map of France, you click on the region where you are, and you see a list of the places where you can find this bank !
Good luck to you !
