Its good to get the travel document , last year flying from Belfast to Cardiff we had to show our passports going into Wales.

My Da always said the Welsh nationalists would make Wales its own country again, I guess he was correct

YES, because the UK is part of the European Union, (since 1973) and you can travel without your passport- you can travel with your Identification card.

The reason why they say passport OR Identification card, is because children don't have ID cards until they are of legal age. They can however obtain a passport at any age.

You are a European Citizen if you are british you dont need a passport to visit most EU countries.
