we are having problems finding a hotel that accommedates a family of 4 - with either two double/queen beds or roll aways. We'd even consider connecting rooms. Any suggestions?

you may find here information on Paris (monuments, museums, hotels, restaurants, ..) : http://paris.c-lafrance.com/

Depending on your budget and on the ages of your kids. FYI, the Novotel hotel may accept four of you in the same room, if your kids are small. Usually, I also advise people to go to a hotel in the suburb, either at the terminal point of a metro line, or along the RER A, B, C, D lines. The hotel are cheaper, and you'll be in Paris within 15 minutes. For example a formule 1 hotel room can cater for three persons at 30-40 Euros the room (of course the confort is very basic) !

If your budget is rather good, you may also rent a citadines flat at http://www.citadines.com/serviced_apartments/apart_hotel_paris.htm; You have 15 of them within Paris, nearby famous sites such as the Eiffel tower, the Champs Elysees, ..;

Have a nice stay in Paris !

Hotels in Paris are very expensive, but I usually stay at a nice hotel in St. German, thants not too expensive. It's called Hotel de L'esperance.

Check out their site for more information;

My favorite hotel, the St. Andre des Artes at 66 rue St. Andre des Artes has a good room for a family with two bedrooms and en suite bath and toilet for 119 euros a night. Breakfast is included in the price.

Email them for reservations (which are essential) at hsaintand@wannado.fr
