Can you advise me a fine jazz club in Paris?

They told me that I can find some in Saint Germain. But I could not reach any info from the net.

A famous one is called "Le Bilboquet" ( Charlie Parker, Sidney Bechet, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington have played here )
13 rue St Benoit near St Germain.

All the previous selections are excellant. Paris is a wonderful city for jazz.

You might also try the other Petit Journal which is located on the boulevard St. Michel across from the Luxembourg Gardens. Its the one I go to. Its a lot smaller than the one in Montparnasse and a bit cheaper. It has its own website here: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/claude.philips/

The Duc des Lombards, 42 Rue des Lomabrds, is another place with a long history: http://www.ducdeslombards.com/ as is the Slow Club at 130 Rue de Rivoli. both these addresses are in the 1st arrondissement. Also in the 1st is Baiser Salé at 58, rue des Lombards. At 25 years old its the youngest of these three.

Finally, although its not, strictly speaking, a jazz club, there is Aux Trois Mailletz at 56 rue Galand in the 5th arr. Its the place where I sing in Paris. Although I'm a jazz singer and a lot of the other musicians/singers who are there are jazz folk, there are many other musicial forms represented, including a lot of classical/opera. Its friendly and there's no cover, admission or minimum for the ground floor piano bar. (There's a more nightclub like setting in the basement for which there is a cover charge.).
