Can you see the Eiffel Tower from inside the De Gaulle Airport in Paris?
I am flying to Rome and have a 3-hour layover in Paris and was wondering. Additional Details I know it is not next to the airport but it is a tall towrer. can u see any of it from airport?
No, you have to leave the airport and go on a 45 minute train ride to see the Eiffel Tower.
EDIT
No, you can't see it at all. CDG airport is a long way out of town to the North.

Nope, it is much too far away. You can't even see the city at all from the airport.

no, sorry to say they're too far away =)

no its too far
zafir
No, it's not that tall. In fact, the city of Paris cannot be seen from CDG as the airport is too far away.

While you cannot see it from CDG, you may be able to see it from the plane as you come in to land. If it is a clear day and the flight pattern in correct.
I saw it from the plane as we came in for a landing this past April.
Good luck.

No, sorry.
Although on a very clear day with no pollution (very rare these days) you can apparently see the Alps from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Erick
Eiffel tower is too far for being seen from CDG airport, but on a sunny day you can see a very small triangle from you plane window... A train-ride to downtown Paris to see it is very risky with only 3 hours layover.
