Climb on top of Notre Dame Museum (right next to the church)
- You'll get to see Paris from the top as well as see the bell (with no hunchback though hehe...)

Lourve Museum
- You can spend days here but of course you shall see things in the museum that interests you :-)
- The must see in Lourve has to be the Mona lisa painting (The anticipation of seeing the real Mona lisa paiting was one of the best feeling I've ever experienced), the rests of Leonardo Da Vinci paintings, 2 of Michelangelo sculptures and Botticelli's paintings :-)

Musee D'Orsay
To view the artworks of french artist such as Monet :-)

Eiffel Tower at night
Go up the top level at night, it has lightshow, amazing twinkling night view of Paris at night (very pretty), the formation of the tower itself is very magical.

Champs's de Elyssee and Arc Du Triomphe
Walk the famous shopping strip towards Arc De Triomphe :-), it's a very nice walk at night with the lights around

Sacred Heart Church (Sacre Cour)
As seen in Amelie. This is the highest ground in Paris. Climb those stairs - they're romantic and get a view of the amazing white church as well as the Paris city.

The Royal Palace
which marks the French Revolution

Versailles Castle (40 minutes by train from central Paris)
Worth spend one full day exploring the massive amazing garden (during spring with the flowers around so pretty), have picnic there. As well as visit the resident of Marie Antoinette (the Grand tiannon) with amazing ballroom.

Off the beaten track would have to be catacomb
it's an underground full of bones. you walk down the steps and make sure you don't take any bones as they'd check your bags and pockets :-). It's a creepy but interesting experience.

Of course Walk around the many bridges of Paris City and romantic little streets :-). Paris is such a beautiful city.

Try the Batobus a hop on, hop off Seine river trip "bus" that stops near each main site (they tell you which ones in French and English) The boats run during daylight hours and you can do a round trip (recommended) and then hop off where you choose. Much better than the rip off Bateaux Mouches

-The Eiffel tower
-The Louvre
-The Notre Dame
-The Presidents Home
-The Arc de Triomphe
-Disney Land
-The Famous street named the Champs Elysees
-Place du Tertre
-The Seine River
-The Royal Palace
-The Sacred Heart Church
-Musee D'Orsay
-The Palace of Versaille which is not far from Paris.
It is where the King lived. Very old ancient town. Really nice to visit though. Just don't go there by car. It's on the outskirts of paris but by car, there is so much traffic, it will take 2 hours or more. So i suggest for you to go by train.

-Just walk through the streets of Paris, you will find so much to see. Lots of tourist people though. And watch out for those people that try to sell you stuff on the street. They'll bug and bug you to buy things.

-By the Seine River which is by the Eiffel Tower, alot of people will sell you stuff. When i went some guy wanted to draw a picture of me by the Eiffel tower. I suggest you do it! i regret not doing it. But i will sure do it next time. :D

-Your quickest transportation around Paris, France would be the Metro. If you have a wallet or purse, hold on it tight! The metro is full of people and your all back to back so there is a lot of picket pocketers.

-Before i forget, Don't go to Montorguel (not sure if i spelled it right), It is a part of Paris that is way ghetto and scary.

HOPE I HELPED!

I've been to Paris only once, in the 70s.

The "Centre Pompidou" is really worth checking out. It has a square in front of it, on which you can see street-artists perform, there are some amazing acts. (well, there were in the 70s, anyway)

I've also been to the "Louvre", if you're into checking out musea, this is a great place to spend some time.

I loved the "Notre Dame", I haven't been up all the way, but my friends did, and said it was well worth it!!

I've also been to le "Place du Tertre", a famous square where painters are working on the street.
I have to admit, the square was much smaller than I'd pictured it to be, but after I got over that minor "disappointment", I loved it.
I think it's well worth a visit.

Pere-Lachaise is a very famous cemetery, lots of celebrities from all over the world are buried there. Unfortunately I've never been there, but I certainly plan to visit it some fine day.

hello...
actually i live in Paris and i'm a real parisian!!
.. i'll suggest you to walk in the streets..
if you want to feel the typical parisian athmosphere, discover beautiful littles streets, admire the architecture, the monuments, the gardens, etc.. you have to walk !
what we call "flâner" in french, wich means moving aimlessly in the streets, but in a poetic way !!

of course there are the best museums in paris but there are museums in almost every cities, and once you would have seen the Joconde in the Louvre and some Monet's, Manet's and Renoir's at the museum of Orsay, believe me that you will enjoy a walk near the Seine, in the "quais"..!

if you want an idea for a "ballade", i suggest you to walk in the covered galleries and passages spread all over Paris, especialy in the districts ("arrondissements") n° 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10. These walkways are like pedestrianized little streets, hosting a number of antique and traditional french shops, and good restaurants...
(search for the "passage des princes" on google images)

hope that i helped you and that you'll enjoy your trip in our lovely Paris..!!
