Charles de Gaulle airport?

We arrive at terminal 3 but we need to go to terminal 1 to catch the RER. Is it walkable or do we need to get on a shuttle bus? Cheers

Here you go:

It depends on which RER you want to go to. Apparently, you'll need to walk then take the free shuttle. There'll be signs.

to catch the RER from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1, it must be walkable Terminal 3...

Take the footpath (approximately 250 m) and follow indication "Paris by train". The Airports shuttles of Paris ensure free connection between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, the car parks long durations PR and PX and Roissypôle.

You definitely need to get a shuttle, esp. with big luggage - it's a long walk. It's free; it also stops at T2. Leave at least 30 minutes, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you as the last time we took the shuttle between terminals the driver stopped at T2 and walked off the bus (took a 10 minute coffee break).

There is a covered walkway there but many visitors complain that the signs are poorly placed and/or confusing.

Terminal One is large so the walk inside it to the RER station can be daunting in the midst of the crowds.

To be honest, although I've made the walk dozens and dozens of times I still find it confusing. Make use of one of the luggage carts if you're carrying anything but the lightest of carryons.
