Crime in the south of France?
What is the crime in that part of France like from Monaco to Saint Tropez? Are there a lot of murderes there and burglaries? Is it true that there is mafia in Nice?Do they blackmail wealthy people?
I grew up in Paris, France & always felt safe !. I moved to the US 25 years ago & design tours to Provence, south of France. I am going back with a different group in the fall, that's how safe i feel Nevertheless you always have to be aware when you travel. So be safe & wise! while abroad.

France has relatively little violent crime and very few murders compared to the United States.
However, the overall crime rate isn't that much different.
