Disneyland Paris is more or less the replica of Magic Kingdom in Orlando. DisneyStudios in Paris is the same than MGM Disney Studios in Orlando.
I suggest you buy a "1 day 2 parks" place that is 54 euros for adults and 46 euros for children.
Be sure to arrive early and get ready to run around the park and get "fasspass" tickets, they'll enable you to "cut" lines on the afternoon.
Restaurants inside are nice. There are a lot of fastfoods. Namely "Videopolis" inside the park or a MacDonald's in Disney Village (outside the park, right at the gates). McDonald's is tricky to find though. You'll have to go straight into DisneyVillage and walk down the "street" it's on the right before passing "Rainforrest Coffee".
If you want "nice restaurant" I strongly suggest Plazza that is situated at the end of Main Street in the right. You'll have to call and book first. Price is 20 euros (I'm sorry but I don't remember if they have a child price) for unlimited "buffet" (lots of choice). There's a small orchestra and the "decors" is great.
Don't worry about "good manners" it's full of children there! As long as your grandson doesn't run all over the restaurant, isn't rude with bad words, or shouts everything will be fine!!!
Try and go there on a Tuesday or a Thursday it is less crowded!

Oh by the way I know you plan to go there on April but there's a discount until March 29th that gives a free entrance for 1 child for each adult ticket that you buy.

Disneyland Paris is a beautiful place you will enjoy it, and you should not worry about food. Actually you will enjoy being in France in general. Just come with a positive attitude!

I visited Disney Paris in Feb. 2005. Since I have visited Disneyland several times and Disney World once, I wasn't extremely impressed with the French theme park. Many attractions are similar to what you find in the American parks. One note of caution if you are taking your young grandson is this: be sure you check the television stations on the hotel room TVs before giving the child full reign. There were pornography shows on "cable" TV during day-time hours. That may be the biggest difference between Disneyland hotels in the states and ones run by more liberal countries.

No culture there, apart from the usual traditional European stories grossly distorted by Disney, the parade's good though.

i would'nt do it, a work mate of mine has just spent christmas over there,he said it was the worst holiday he's had.they [the french] are so rude.no consideration for anybody but them selfs.DONT DO IT!!!!

But don't visit Eurodisney while you are there. It is an evil place. And don't go to McDonalds - their food poisons the mind and erodes the soul.

Chill in the Tuileries; visit the Orangerie and the Musee D'Orsay; wonder at the design of the Pompidou Centre.
