Usually you need 6 months left, but some countries require 1 year. So, I'd suggest you to check it out on the embassy's web page. |

Bonjour ! it depends where you come from !
But you probably have to have at least 6 months before expiration of the validity of your passport ;
anyhow, it's wiser to do so ! you never know what can happen !
Good luck ! |

depends on your nationality. if you're non EU, yes. otherwise, no. |

If you are an EU citizen, travelling within the EU on an EU passport, you do not need 6 months left on your passport so long as your passport is still valid. However, as a lot of countries require visitors to have at least 6 months left on their passport at entry, it would be advisable to renew your passport. You can renew 9 months before it is due to expire. |

Some EU countries won't let you in at border control if your passport is due to expire shortly, thats if they bother to look, but better not risk it. |

Yes you have to have more than six months on your passport to visit France. For some odd reason that I don't know, most countries have the same rule, you must have more than six months on your passport before they will let you visit. The best thing to do is check with the State Department's website and they list the passport requirements for every country. Many countries also require visas which can take a couple of weeks to get. |

No, not necessarily. The point is that your passport should be valid till the very last date mentioned on the visa (probably one or two days beyond the mentioned date) and that should work fine, as far as I'm concerned. |

Normally yes... But as far as I remember there were some exceptions I was not concerned at that time so don t remember them...
The best is to check their consulate |
