NO, they do not,. They only drink Mouton-Rotschild and Mumm's.

Evian, Perrier, etc are only for export.

Bien sur! If this is a serious question, here is a serious answer. The French drink as much water as anyone else. However, it is not recommended to drink water from any old source. When in France, you will find signs saying "Eau Potable," which means that this water source is safe, or potable. Most French buy their water at the store for walking around. They like it "gaseuse", which is fizzy, and "naturelle" or "non-gaseuse," or the like, for plain water. They also drink flavored water and sport drinks. Most homes have bottled water brought in because the pipes are very old, sometimes centuries old, and they do not want to risk having extra stuff in their water. The stereotype that they only drink wine is a cute one, but untrue.

i think that everyone in the world drinks water so yeah i assume france does too

No, in France, we drink only wine, but good one !

Of course I joke....

My prefered mineral waters are Evian
And for sparkling waters Perrier and Badoit !

God! Of course we don't! Are you mad? We never drink water. Some people drink some drops in their pastis, but that's all. We only drink wine. Anyway, we don't have water in our homes, and we are to poor to buy bottled water. So we drink wine and wash when it rains. That's France.
