How does France feel about you? Just remember she doesn't shave her armpits. Is that really what you want to be seen out with? |

Without the french's help the US couldn't have gained independence. I don't see why they hate the french to begin with. |

Really? You meet people who feel that way? Worrying, very worrying.
I guess you'll have to give back the entire basin of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and the area around the Great Lakes, because being former French territory they're inherently infected. Shoot, there goes that vacation to Graceland, Memphis... |

Tell them that if they like the statue of liberty and what it stands for then they should like the French too. |

Why do you speak to racist people? And worse, why do you even listen to them? Just leave in their solitude, ignorance and petty little hates. They don't know different things from home, different people from themselves... how good can they feel about themselves and their lives? |

No! That's great. I can't believe that grown people are telling you which nationalities you should and shouldn't like. That's just stupid.
I'm an American too. France isn't my favorite place and I find the people can be quite rude to Americans, but overall, it's a great country and once you get past the political stuff, the French are nice people. |

I love France, the French--I also love my own USA, I'am a huge fan of Germany and Germans, and I think Quebec City awesome (sorry, Canadians, I've been nowhere else in Canada long enough to form and opinion, so I guess I'll just like you.) As long as you don't go pushing your opinion on people they have no business pushing theirs on you! |

Love whoever and whatever you choose and ignore everyone else. People are different and that is the beauty of the human race. If people say you shouldn't love France then perhaps these people are too opionionated and not necessarily worth having as friends. I love France too!!! And Americans!!! |

I think France and the French are absolutely wonderful. I went to school in Paris many years ago and later lived in the South of France for several months. The most important thing to the French is to enjoy life. A job is an annoying thing one must put up with in order to enjoy lifes bounties. They are not lazy, they have learned to place things in proper priority. So many Americans (most who have never been to France) say the French are rude. Having customs different than your own does not equate to rude, it just means different. Accept these differences and love them. Some of these differences make the French totally unique and I love them for it. A quote from a book I once read: "Living in Paris unfits you for living anyplace else in the world." This certainly was true for me. |

Not at all. I love France and the French too. I am become more and more embarrassed to say that I am American, honestly.
As for the hairy airpit question someone posted.....have you ever even been to France to see for yourself that the French do shave? Or are you just going on rumours? Yeah, I think I already know that answer. |
