Yes, in France even though you can sometimes buy goat milk in some supermarkets this is not common and most of the milk on sale is cow milk. It can be expensive organic milk or just regular milk, skimmed, half skimmed or full cream. You can also buy 'fresh' milk, sterilised but without the long life treatment (can't remember the name of the process).
Sheep or goat milk are used to make delicious tasty cheeses. |

French people drinks cow's milk, yes.
In the past we used to buy it at the farm directly, but now it's mainly in supermarket and you can find a few brands of organic milks.
Now we can easily find goat's milk and soja milk (organic or not) too in supermarket, but people who buy those kind of milk are generally allergic to cow's milk (or just want to discover new taste..., I buy goat's milk sometimes, it's really good !). |

well it due to you asked a such s silly question one France si well known do there breeding of cows and beef and they do eat tons of cheese so it would be common sense they would also drink the milk of the cows in fact it better then the usa milk that we drink in the usa the french milk is more creamer and i like the idea we store it on shelves not in the icebox we just put them in at nigh so we can have cold milk for breakfast |
