Um. Yeah.

maat13101
Yes, in addition to bidets. The latter is just for cleansing of ones self, they still need the toilet to expel the waste.

Shannon
why wouldn't they...?

well, yes, look at your history, they are some of the people who developed indoor tolietry in the first place. where do you think people in the U.S. got it from?

Yeah, except sometimes they have those nasty "squat toilets" where you crouch over a (perhaps 3 by 3 foot) ceramic insert in the floor with a hole in it. The really nasty things is, the place where you put your feet is where the person before peed on. Actually, I believe you can find these in the third world as well, but don't quote me on that.

Le non, mais eux ont des toilettes.

NuttyRedhead
Yes, indoor plumbing has been a fixture in France for quite a while. At least since last week. They even have TV!

cope_acetic
No, just diapers. DUH!

Yes they do, but as already mentioned, they do have squat toilets, which are one the most horrible things in the world. These you generally only find in public toilets - stay clear of them! If you're really desperate, DON'T whatever you do, go to the nearest public toilet. Find a cafe or restaurant instead. Then you won't get something horrible like typhoid.

bobbalou27
not only do they have toilets, they have toilets in their houses. And as an added extra they have bidets

The French have toilets and bidets.
They have bathtubs and showers too, but the French still smell.

Your name says it all, you are dumb, and you are American. What makes you think Americans have the exclusivity on toilets? Do you really think the millions of people in France do their business in chamber pots or outside? Maybe you need to travel more, to see for yourself that the rest of the world is just as civilized, and in some places, more civilzed than America.
