Do you know Brittany ?

My country in France is a land of legends (part of King Arthur kingdom) and of proud culture, we enjoy welcoming foreigners. We are bit shyer than south French people and are related to Irish, Welsh, Galician and other celtic countries.

Our flag was inspired by US' one, stars being replaced by symbol of hermine.

Yes. It is a beautiful area with a wealth of traditions and culture.
The food there is exceptionally fresh and delicious, with lobsters straight from the sea, grilled herrings, oatmeal pancakes with delicious fillings and lovely cider by the bowl.
The legends are fascinating. Carnac is awesome, and menhirs and dolmens abound. Rennes is a handsome city where there is a lot to do.
The coastline is breathtaking, and the beaches are sandy and pleasant.
One regret: the splendid local costumes which you could still see worn thirty years ago are now hardly worn except at the odd Pardon. They were the most beautiful in France, with magnificent clothes and head dresses on the women, and quaint jackets and hats on the men.
We go there once year in the fall for three or four days and are always welcomed with open arms.

Yes I know Brittany (resisting the temptation here to go for the obvious crack)

It's wet and windy and cold, just like my miserable country, England.
