Do you know anything about Avignon, France?
I goig to visit there in July. I just want to know more about that area. I heard that it's really beutiful.
I spent four months in that part of France last year. Avignon is wonderful. The main attraction there is the Palais des Papes, which is the Pope's old (modest...not) summer home. Avignon used to be a papal onclave, so it's got a little different feeling than the rest of the area. Try to visit other places in Provence. Aix is a really nice college town (good nightlife and food,) and Arles has some really amazing Roman ruins. Baux de Provence is a smaller area; they have a great fort and really picteresque medevil town. Have fun!

I know about the famous bridge of Avignon (does that count?), there is a song about it that is taught to little kids in kindergarten (I remember, it was fun!)
