the eurotunnel is great - there's just two problems - the pricing policy is all over the place. one day it'll cost you £120, the next you might get your car and four passengers under the channel for £15 !!
stupid!!
and there have been delays a few times when we've been. i think those tciket machines might cause it, as no-one seems to be able to operate them.
but even so, you leave ashford and 30 minutes later you're in france. much better than any other form of transport.

Eurostar! specially during winter months is faster and warmer with excellent air conditioning

High Voltage
I prefer the train as it is quicker. Granted unless you've brought a book with you there isn't anything to do for 35 minutes but, it is smoother

raskal66
The train is faster and smoother. The ferry provides more in way of scenery.

For speed and ease of travel I much prefer the train now. You can be in Paris in 2 and a half hours.
The ferry is fun and you can have a few drinks and a laugh but it is way too slow.

Spotlight
No contest. The Train.
