We do! At least I do! And by the way I had a McDonald's set today for lunch... Now I'll have a nap... lol

@Nawtsman... Nice cliché, but have you been in France? Do you actually know french people? I am french and I am enough open-minded to taste all kinds of food. Have you tried french food? ;)

well I know that they like a good hamburger every once in a while, but sadly McDonalds is the only place they can get one. There's a KFC there too, but I wouldn't recommend taking your French exchange person there. There coming to America, they're gonna want to experience more than just a simple restaurant they can also go in their country. Take them somewhere original, an American favorite. Take them out to a really good hamburger place, or something like that.
Hope this helped!

French people are not abnormal, they do eat junk food like everyone else. McDonald's and KFC, they love that too, in spite of the stereotypes about them only eating in fancy restaurants! Only very few French people actually eat in fancy places, like the ones you see in movies, but they do like to eat good food, they like their croissants, orange juice and cafe au lait in the morning. But your exchange person won't expect you to feed him/her French food, so just be natural, give them what you normally eat, ask them what kind of places they would like to eat in, and, if you want to be excessively nice, impress him/her with a croissant in the morning. THis will definitely earn you a smile:)
Otherwise, don't freak out! They are normal people!:)

Yes some do but occasionally..One thing you have to know is that this kind of food it's not really food but only sort of baby food...so yes most French (young mostly) will eat in those place from time to time...but it does not mean that we dont eat better food to.

In France you can eat anything kind of food you want...good or bad, but as most people will eat good food...I guess you are very far from this behaviour.

No, they don't, first because Mc and KFC are junk food, second French people are proud with their cultural and food.
