I believe small free tourist maps are avaliable from information centres which feature all the main places to go and some of the lesser known. If you've seen 'Amilee' you can go to most of the places in the film. Paris underground is a great cheap way to get around quickly but walk and you can see some great places on the way. Some interesting places to find: Eifel tower Arc de triomphe La Conciergerie Notre-Dame Catacombs (not too many people go) The park in central paris (don't go at night) Moulin Rouge Chantilly Musee de L'armee I didn't have time to go on a boat trip but I was told it's a good way to see the city. and if you can get into one of the big shows on the 'Champs Elyees' then get your smarts on and see it. Oh and theres a hard to find resteraunt called 'flams' just off the C.Elyees thats worth a casual dinner. |

Google Maps provides either a high level view or street level view: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=paris,+france&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=12&om=1&iwloc=addr |
