I had the same problem when I was in Asia. You had better start drinking coke or pepsi. |

it is withdrawl. Cigarette smokers go through this when quitting.
are you sure they dont have something like it? I hope you find it , or chew on sugar gum, get a cappucino at a cafe, because you should enjoy france, not have withdrawl =[
best of luck. |

Don't know where in France you are but I know the supermarket "Intermarche" in Rouen sold cans of Dr. Pepper for 99 centimes and in Lyon there's a shop (can't remember the name, sorry!) that sold all kinds of American products. |

I have a friend in Paris (a French guy) who is a big fan of
Dr. Pepper. Everytime someone he knows heads up to Luxembourg for the week-end, he asks them to bring him back a case of Dr. Pepper. It is not expensive there either.
Not sure how far you are from Luxembourg though. It is not far from Paris (about 3 1/2 hours drive, less by train). :)
You may have to consider switching to something else. |

Go find a Dr. Pepper!! and just for the record....you can become addicted to any soda especially Dr. Pepper due to the amount caffeine in it. Withdraws can come from sudden stoping . Headaches are usually the first symptom to show up first. Maybe if your living in France, you can't be a Pepper too!! Good Luck. |

LOL! I have no idea where you can get Dr. Pepper in Paris, but I have to tell you this story. About 10 years ago I was giving a marketing presentation to a group of French businessmen about marketing segmentation. It was the typical American business meeting in Dallas where there was a spread of snacks, water & soft drinks.
I was drinking a diet Dr. Pepper and at the end of my talk one of the French guys was fascinated by my Dr. Pepper & wanted to try one. I poured him a glass & he started to sniff it!
I had to tell him that there was no bouquet! It was just a sugary soft drink. |

You poor thing. No Dr Pepper in France, I have to import it from the UK for a friend with the same symptoms and we are in Paris where you usually can get (nearly) everything.
Have you tried (dare I say it) Coca or Pepsi? I heard it's nearly the same thing. |
