The FNAC is pretty widespread in Paris, there are loads of them and you should be able to find some headphones there:

http://www.fnac.com (in French). There should be prices on the site, I'm not sure if you can switch languages from French to English though lol

Alternatively, there's the Virgin Megastore on the Champs Elysees. If you can get to Bercy 2, which is a mall in east of Paris (accessible by metro) you can get some at Carrefour, which is a supermarket chain like Wallmart, those should be cheaper than Virgin and Fnac altogether. Happy shopping :)

You can get the cheapo ones in bazaar stores for about one or two euros.
For more upmarket models, go to the electronics stores, around the Gare du Nord for example.

The major electronic stores in France with headphones are FNAC, Darty and Virgin Megastores. You'll find them all around Paris. Also try the Galeries Lafayette near Opera on boulevard Haussman. There are some other smaller ones where you could find what you need.

I bought a pair of headphones for about 18 Euros (24 USD) that are good quality. There were also lower end ones for 9-10 Euros (13 USD). Of course, the sky is the limit and you can spend 75 + Euros for a pair.

The above respondents gave you some pretty good places to look. But if you are from the US, you should be aware that electronics in France are more expensive than in the US.

They're not difficult to find. I no longer live in Paris so I'm out of touch with prices, but in addition to some of the good suggestions you've already gotten from other responders, you might also consider going to "hypermarchÃ©s" like Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, etc. There's a Carrefour in Montreuil (literally just outside Paris city limits, Porte de Montreuil mÃ©tro station), and an Auchan a short distance from there in Bagnolet (Gallieni mÃ©tro station). As for Leclerc, there are a few just outside Paris (see link below). Just type Paris where it says "Votre code postal ou ville".

There are plenty of electronics stores in Paris. You can find them in most estate agencies. Expect to pay a couple of hundred thousand euros for one.
