Famous French museums? Anyone know any?

Hello, i am writing about French museums, and am looking for the most famous museums in France, primarily for art. The top 3 would be fantastic. Thanks for any help.

The three that I think would be of interest would be:

1) Louvre, for the largest collection of art works throughout time and from various origins. I love its section of Renaissance arts the most.

2) Musee d'Orsay, for its collection of Impressionist arts. This is by far my favourite museum in Paris, as I'm a big fan of Impressionism.

3) Centre Georges Pompidou, for its modern arts collection. Even the building itself is a work of modern art in my humble opinion.

These are top notch museums, and in combination would have included art work since the antiquities to the modern days, so it would have been great for art discussion.
