generally a marseille number is written
04 9x xx xx xx (10 figures ).

to send a faxe from abroad you have to compose 33 for france and the nine last numbers .

33 4 9x xx xx xx ( dont compose 0 )

Yes, you do. It's 4

Joker ♠.♥.♦.♣
Tiramisu is right except that French numbers are with 10 numbers.

And if you’re calling from abroad you don’t have to dial the first number that is always a 0 .

A number for Marseille should be like 04 XX XX XX XX.

From abroad you have to dial
+ 33 4 XX XX XX XX (+ means international calling code)
or 011 33 4 XX XX XX XX from USA

Hello-Paris
In France all tel (and fax) number are with 8 numbers, always beginning with Ă  0.
From France, you have to dial all the 8 numbers.
From abroad you have to do only the last 7 numbers :

33 (for France) + the last 7 numbers.

Numbers for Paris and around begin with 01.
Numbers for Marseille and around begin with 04.
Numbers for cells phones begin with 06......

So you to dial 33 4 xx xx xx xx
