probably like most countrys you see good and bad we are after all only human so opinions vary from person to person i went to euro disney once and met one or two really arrogant french people but i also met a lot of very nice and geniune people so i suppose like me you take the bad with the good thankfully most french people i met were wonderfull helpfull and kind and that made the trip brilliant for me

I love to visit France and do so as often as possible. There is always lots of talk that the French don't like the Brits and i have to say that i meet more unfriendly than friendly french people. I will continue to visit but the attitude of the people is beginning to ware thin.........

Hello, I see that I'm the first french one to answer.

I know that a few french people like to laugh at people from abroad. But you can't make a generality.
Personnaly, I have english family and my best friend is irish and scottisch.

As everywhere, people unknowledged criticize what they don't know.

God save the queen !

I love France and even live in France .! You French are really nice ! The health service is great and everyone I have met is really nice and jolly.

Well being part French part English, I got to see both sides. Unfortunately, the French have a huge chip on their shoulder, and are one of the most xenophobic nation! They even hate eachother from one region to another, etc. There is always an inferiority complex with the French. Apart from that, bewteen France and Britain, it has always been a case of can't live with them, can't live without them.

They call them "les rosbiffs"
They mock you a little but they don't hate the english

2nd French to answer !
But my Dad is British, he was born in Devon... And school was quite hard for him when he arrived in France, other kids accused him that he burned Jeanne d'Arc...

As I got an English family name, I'm used to the kidding of my colleagues... Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not...
But when we learned that the olympic games in 2012 will take place in London and not in Paris, I had my revenge !

I think that Brits and French will always tease each other, but nobody do it to be mean. It's like when I tease my sister because she's blonde...

The French have a huge interiority complex where the Brits are concerned, just because they are inferior.
