Formule 1 hotels, far from paris?

Hi, i'm going to paris with a big group from college and we are thinking of staying in one of the formule 1 hotels....does any1 know if these are very far from the centre of paris? is there a lockout? and if it is far...would a taxi be very expensive from the centre of paris to the hotel?? Which hotel would be the most convenient? (less metro lines/nearer!?)

Thanks!!

I just stayed at Formula 1 in April in Paris.
There are 7 of them in the area, outside the "ring", the expressway that surrounds the city.

I stayed at the St. Ouen hotel because...
My students (French speaking, live in Brussels, Belgium)said that St. Denis was a bad neighborhood. St. Denis is probably the cheapest of al seven.
OF COURSE, the Paris metro is a 2 minute walk from the St. Ouen hotel.
Did you know that every room has a Queen bed, and a twin bunk above it? If you don't want to sleep next to another person, then you HAVE TO request a room for two, and you will get two twin beds.

Breakfast is 3.90 euro per person, and is toast, cornflakes, coffee juice, unlimited.

Here is the website to book your room, and cancel if necessary. YOU MUST BOOK on line.

If it doesn't come up in English, look for the British flag in the upper right corner, click on the flag for English.

TAXI: One taxi or train ride you'll need is from Charles DeGualle Airport to your hotel. That can be 50 to 60 euro, plus tip, for a taxi. The train is 8 euro per person. Take the train to the Paris Nord station, then transfer to a metro (subway) for 1.11 euro (if you buy 10 tickets, you'll need them!)

There's one 10" walk from a metro station called "porte d'orléans". Book VERY EARLY if you want to get a room there, buses and the metro from there will take you to the major places quickly and even if you take a taxi it won't cost much : http://www.accorhotels.com/fr/hotel-5010-formule-1-paris-porte-de-chatillon/index.shtml
