I live in Paris and I think it is better to live here than in Quebec because I think living in Europe is better than living in North America.
I like being able to travel to different countries easily and having contact with other cultures and languages often.
I find France way more attractive than Quebec. |

Where do you live now? Quebec is kind of a hybrid between France and North America. They have a lot of North American mannerisms, and about 25% of Quebec actually speaks English now. I would say if you live in Europe, go for France, but if you live in the US or Canada, go for Quebec. |

I've been to Quebec twice, and aside from the French speaking Canadians, it feels like being anywhere else in Canada or western society. While I never been to France, I do acknowledge the fact that it has a lot more culture and history. Im not much of a french speaker, but I would say it would probably be nice to be over there instead :) |

If you speak French perfectly then why on earth should you want to go to Quebec? To show off? There are forty-nine countries where French is a spoken native tongue. If you put them all in a league table then I reckon that there would be forty-seven of them between France and Quebec. |

France.
Quebec is - to say the least - not the most pleasant place to live. I've lived hear my whole life, and I cannot wait to make enough money to move out. The french here despise the English, and it is frowned upon to speak English. If you go to a restaurant and order something in English, and the waitress is French, she'll practically spit on you. It's a very prejudice society. Also, we have the highest taxes in North America, which isn't exactly a selling point. If you have kids, they won't be allowed to go to an English school.
If you're not big on civil rights, then come to Quebec. If you want to be somewhere where you won't be constantly criticized for knowing English, go to France. |
