If you're into art, you could do an impressionist like Monet, Manet, Renoir, Degas, Toulouse Latrec, etc.
If you want to do a place of intrest, you could do Moulin Rouge, the Chateau de Versaille, the Catacombes, or the Paris Sewers (that sounds kind of gross, but they actually give tours of them and they are very cool.)
If you're into the land itself, you could do the Seine River, the Alps, the Pyrenees, etc.
You could do your project on the French Republic system if you are into government, or you could do it on the old prime minister, Jaques Chiraque.
If you're a history buff, you might want to consider doing the French Revolution (or just a specific event), the French in WW1 or WW2, or the history and symbolization of the French National Anthem and/or the French Flag.
I hope this gives you some kind of an idea. Just look for something that you are interested and then find a way to relate it to France/French. |

What about the catacombs in Paris??? That'd be really interesting.
-how the Black Plague effected France.
-how king arthur and the round table was really written in today's france (Bretagne)
-How William the Conqueror married his cousin, why, and what happened as a result.
-talk how mardi gras in the united states is different than carnaval in France.
-Winter Festival in Quebec, Canada.
Loads of things!
