Our plugs and outlets are made that way :

2 prongs that are "cylinder shaped" and have their end rounded.

So if you have flat prongs ,you ll have to get an adapter plug

Voltage here is about 220/ 230 Volts not 110 V

You need to go to a hardware store and buy an international exchange plug. It has about 5 in plugs for different countries and one spot to put an american plug.

I'm assuming you're not in Europe. American plugs will NOT work in Europe. Never fear: there are loads of electric converter sets available in any retail shop or even AAA travel. You plug your charger into the converter and plug the converter into the wall.

I will remind you, though, when I went to France, I brought a hair dryer and all sorts of electronic equipment and couldn't use any of it. Converters don't often work that well because outlets are 220v and the USA is 120v. It's too little power to put into a HUGE power socket. Try using battery-only electronics like a camera, because your mobile/cell phone will not work in Europe either.

Have SO much fun ! I went to Europe for Spring Break and ended up moving over here - years later, I'm still here and living quite happily. You just never know!! ; )

No. You need to take (or buy) diferent outlets for your plug in both countries.
