In high season, for a trip all the way to the top by elevator, the cost for adults is €12.00 (€6.70 for children under 12). For a trip only to the first level, the cost is €4.80 for adults, and €2.50 for children. For a trip only to the second level, the cost is €7.80 for adults, €4.30 for children.

You can also climb the stairs as far as the second level for a lower price; but it’s a very tough climb in an open stairway, and it should not be undertaken by anyone with heart problems, knee problems, any fear of heights, etc. The stairs cost €4.00 for persons over 25, and €3.10 for persons under 25. You cannot go all the way to the summit via the stairs.

Children under three years old are admitted for free. There are modest discounts for groups and handicapped people, and some very small discounts in the off-season (winter). It is now possible for groups to purchase tickets in advance as well.

(Prices given here were valid on April 20, 2008, but the SNETE continues to hike prices by about 10% a year or more (far more than the rate of inflation can justify), so this can change at any time. By way of comparison, you can visit the Louvre and see a quarter-million works of art for about 1/4 less than it costs to visit the summit of the Eiffel Tower.)

12 Euro to go to the top and it's totally worth it.
