You are going to be very surprised at how expensive things are in France. If you are an American, your dollars aren't worth as much as they used to be in exchange. And to add to this, consider that the difference between a modest meal and a fine one, and similar issues, is so great that it would be impossible to estimate your costs without knowing of your sleeping accommodations, eating expectations and mode of transportation. If you planned to go in October without having already figured such expenses - you are a fool or very rich. If it's the former, it's too late, and if the later, why would you care?

Well.. you are gonna want to buy some stuff from Montmartre, so for there I'd take about $300. And you need money to get into museums and the eiffel tower. Try to figure out what historical sites you want to visit and how much a ticket to get in costs. Also you need money to dine and eat. You need to figure out what specifics you are looking to buy while traveling...do you want souvenirs from Disneyland or the chocolate factory?? I'm going to Paris in the Spring and am trying to figure out what I want to buy. HAVE A SAFE AND GOOD TRIP!!!!!!
