Go to http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverlesprofessionnels/index.do

This is the french yellow pages. Type in hotel in the Quoi/Qui box and tour eiffel in the Où box and it will bring up a map and list of the closest hotels. You can then look at the hotel's listing or link to its website for details.

Hotel Valadon- stayed there last summer towards the end of May. Clean rooms, not a far walk from metro, Eiffel Tower, and les Invalides. Complementary breakfast of croissant and jelly, and OJ. Very friendly owners who are very helpful. Their dog was also cute!

Infos
Sorry but no one is cheap near this place ! (the most visited monument in the world...)

Well, if i can give you an advice, it will be this one :

You don't have to find a hotel especially near the Eiffel Tower.
Indeed, the public-transport network is operational.
From half of the city, it's possible to join the Eiffel Tower in 20/30 minutes.

If you want, you can also visited the "Sacré Coeur" in Monmartre...

Kiriad Hotel is quite far from the Eiffel Tower. But with the metro, you can easily reach it. The price is very reaonable. It includes a buffet breakfast. It's a 3 star hotel, the surroundings are not as classy as champs elysee. But, the place have restaurants, grocery and bakeshops nearby. Their bathroom is very small but the place is clean. It's a value for money hotel. You may visit their website for further info.

Hi!

Last summer we stayed in Paris and wanted to stay the colsest to the nice places for the least money possible. We got this page where they offered nice apartments throught the whole city. We had a really good time and we didn't spend so much time on travelling as we were at the heart of Paris.

Hi KJ,

What are you looking for ? An hotel or a place to stay ?
I mean, you can rent an apartment which is about the same price ( more OR Less ...) there is a lot of agencies which managed apartments, Holiday Velvet, is one of the good one that I know and they have a Paris department - www.holiday-velvet.com/paris - as I said there is a lot of agencies, try to compare if you use this way. You'll see an apartment is not, as cold as an hotel, you feel at home, anyway, now I travel only like that.
Hope can help
Steph

Check this website for lots of info on Paris (not just the Eiffel Tower).

http://www.paris-eiffel-tower-news.com/

I stayed in Hotel Magendie for two weeks and it was nice enough, but not really close to the Eiffel Tower. It has a great metro connection though and is on the lower end of the Paris hotel cost scale.
