Good inexpensive hotel suggestions in Latin Quarter of Paris?

I would like to stay under 100E/night for a double room in August (preferably around 80E), in an air conditioned hotel. This is for a romantic holiday so the room should be somewhat nice. Ideally I would want to be located by the St Michel metro stop.

The Best Western La Tour Notre Dame ( http://www.resideo.com/fr/paris/43354181.hotel ) might be your best bet.

Not sure how much the rate is for the dates you're looking to stay -- but click the link, click the "Make a Reservation Online" button to check.

Also check the Hotel Europe Saint Severin Paris ( http://www.resideo.com/fr/paris/89245735.hotel) -- it's rated a star lower than the Best Western, so it might have cheaper rates, but it's only a block or two away.

Good luck & have fun!

I stayed here in 2005 and it was pretty nice. Like all hotels in Paris, it's very small. The bathroom was huge, the staff was friendly, they have the smallest elevator that I have ever seen, and is in a convenient location:

i went on holiday there a few weeks back, had a lovely time. i was hoping not to spend too much on accommodation so i went with a apartment instead of a hotel. it worked out great, the quality for the price is so much better. i had some luck with http://www.holiday-velvet.com/paris

there was numerous apartments to choose from and the site flowed with ease. another great Paris site for visitors http://www.parisinfo.com
