The restaurants that only french know : the panoramic restaurant of Vincennes race-course - you eat and at the same time watch horse-races - Not expensive

Well down around the Latin Quarter there are lovely little Restaurants and Bistros!
But if you like Italien food theres a lovely pizza place on Champs Elysee called Pizza Pino, its not all pizzas, they do Pastas and Salads too.
But I adore it and I find the staff really friendly.
Not to expensive either!

There are a bunch of inexpensive places along the rue Mouffetard in the 5th arrondissement. The prices are particularly attractive at lunch when 3 course meals with a glass of wine are in the 12-15 â‚¬ range with a few "menus" (fixed price meals) as low as 8â‚¬.

The Auberge Le Pot de Terre ( http://www.lepotdeterre.com/index2.htm ) has a nice 12â‚¬ menu.

Crepes a GoGo (its better than it sounds) by the Pantheon has an all the crepes you can eat special on Tuesday evenings for 18â‚¬. ( http://www.gogo.fr/crepes/index.htm ) and prices generally are quite reasonable.

The Maison de la LozÃ¨re does some killer aligot (a dish of mashed potatoes, butter, cream and Cantal cheese) on thursday night. This has got to be the greatest potato side dish ever. Reserve in advance because they are very popular. http://www.lozere-a-paris.com/

La Brouette ( http://www.labrouette.fr/ ) has an all you can menu for 20.90 â‚¬ (I have an obsession with all you can eat places) They serve pierrade and fondue Bourguignonne. Pierrade, like the more familiar fondue Bourguignonne, is a sort of "cook it yourself" dish where you are presented with slices of meat which you then grill yourself at table. This is accompanied by a variety of sauces to dop the cooked meat in. Sides dishes of green beans, various potato dishes, and salades are also provided.

Finally, my favorite little restaurant is the La Methode at 2 rue Descartes (5th). A small, cozy little place, very friendly, and, while not dirt cheap, still reasonable. I usually spend around 30â‚¬ for a meal with three courses, pre-dinner drink, a couple of glasses of wine and coffee.

I like to go to St. Michel area and Place Monge (names of the metro stops). You can get a "menu" with starter, plate, dessert for around 15 euro. they are both cute areas

st. paul is good for lunch (not saturday's) if you like falafals :)

Go down the Champs Elysee. Its a long street full of outside restaurants. Some are more expensive than other but you find some that are reasonable for Paris standards and very romantic.

Restaurant de la Tour. Sorry I don't have the address with me now, but you can google it. It's very close to the Eiffel Tower and their "menu" meals are reasonably priced. Very good too!
