Omaha is still a beach and not attached to any town. It still has WW2 bunkers on the escarpments behind the shore and it is a rather desolate place except in the summer. The nearest town where you could eat a conventional meal is Arromanches and there most of the eateries are simple cafés, or créperies (places where you can eat pancakes either savoury or sweet). The cafés and restaurants mostly serve sea food, delicious mussels cooked in white wine or with Fresh cream added, and these are served with home made fries, or salades composées (various salads with different ingredients)
Here are the best well known places:

There also is a D-day museum and a round cimema where you can see a film of the American landings on screens that are all the way around you, so you get the impression of being in the middle of the battle.

Omaha Beach in Normandy is not known for restaurants. Eat where ever you can find a place...No one goes to Omaha Beach to eat.

Omaho Beach is really just a beach with some holiday chalets and the museum for the D-day landings. There is one building which houses a souvenir shop and a pub, where you can eat, but it's not a great restaurant. We were there this Summer, but it's all about the landing beaches really.
