No, but I am french, a bit. My Dad and brothers went recently and I plan to go perhaps next year. France, is far from gay, thank you very much. It is wonderful no matter where you stay there. Yes, it would be helpful to learn some french, but the people there probably do not care. The Europeans are very well educated and usually understand most languages, so don't worry. Anyone who thinks going is gay, you need to stop sucking your bottle and grow up!

Yep I've been to France.I went to Paris. There are alot of places to visit there. You should go to the Eiffel tower. You should see it also in the dark because all the lights come up and it looks really pretty.Visit the Louvre museum because that's where the Mona Lisa painting is and many other famous paintings. The museum is also very pretty and huge! Research yourself on places to visit if you're considering in going such as looking in travel guides or in the internet.

Yes, I went last summer.

France is great!
But first learn some French, cause french people don´t like people who don´t try to speak French. And they don´t like to speak other languages.

France is lovely......I went to Paris which I can highly recommend.....There are some dank parts, but in general the architecture is ornate and gold!.
Places in Paris I recommend are Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle ( lovely stained glass!!), Eiffel tower, Arc de triumph ( ok my spelling as a LOT to bedesired)...great views for the last 2 as does Sarcre Coeur ( lots of climbing for latter 2, eiffel has a lift you can take).
Pere Lechasie cemetrary is really interesting with lots of famous people buried there eg Oscar Wilde, Chopin and Jim Morrison.
Versailles ( I did a half day tour)
Louvre...you cannot imagine how ginormous it is.......there are lots of other museums as well of not eg Musee D'orsay etc.

I also went to central France for a couple of weeks which is lovely lovely lovely.......around the towns of cahors and figiac. There are some fairytale like towns there to visit ( you really need to rent a car to see them)...like St Cirq lapopie, Autoire, st cere and lots of others and Rocamadour is truely breathtaking........the whole area is wonderful and not too far from Toulouse or Lyon if you want to visit them.

Courteney
yep, i lived in france for 2 years.
