Yes yes yes! Its amazing i lived there for 6months with my girlfriend and I have regretted leaving ever since. The Cours mirabeau is an amazing street at night time, the place is packed with bars restuarants cafes, casinos fountains, parks, trees, markets. i could go on and on and on. I would recommend it to any one. If you do go be sure to check out the cathedral and the little cafe in the square outside, also the Cezanne museum garden is just an increadable experience, the garden has been left just as it was when he was a live.

Please please go and enjoy it for me!!

I confirm, it's amazing, my favorite city in France behind Paris, worths the visit. I lived there for 6months with my girlfriend. The Cours mirabeau is great at any time. The fruit market on satursdays is one of the best of France. Great food, great small discotheques.
Only drawbacks : difficult to park and expensive long term accomodation.

it's completely worth it...it's amazing. I have been there and it is just beautiful.

I actually studied in Grenoble, France and did a lot of snowboarding there b/c I loved the alps.

But when I went on spring break, I went to AIX i passed through for about 4 days and had a amazing time. The food is wonderful, the people are friendly, the weather is simply gorgeous.

You might also look to visit a town called Arles which was simply gorgeous. I don't think its that far from Aix.
