Possibly, but only by their own fault. If you look at the map http://www.catacombes-de-paris.fr/visit-english.htm you'll see it's a pretty straightforward trail. The Catacombs are also well-lit and well-marked.

The catacombs are a vast maze under Paris, and it is possible to get lost there. Philibert Aspairt has disappeared on November 3rd, 1793 and his body was found eleven years later. We do not know if this is a real story or a legend, but Philibert Aspairt has a grave.

It is forbidden to enter the catacombs, except the small part which is opened for tourist (you cannot get lost there).
Among the people who entered the forbidden part of the catacombs, there are probably many who got temporarily lost. However you will not find any source for that.
