lots of crap said here...
Nice is not on the dead sea... so salty... it is a joke.
sand on the beaches in Nice, tell where... never seen...
Nice is on French Riviera but it is not the city to go in the area.
Nice is large city without any flair (Jet Set .. a joke ; you talk about Monaco, Cannes or St Tropez, not Nice... the only Jet Set place in Nice is the airport where they land ... to leave as quick as possible the city...).
If you really want to have fun , get to Cannes (20 minutes away, Monaco or St Tropez...)
Cannes would be the god choice : less expensive than the two others and great to enjoy.
Sand on all beaches, very clean and safe (not like Nice...) |

It as very nice, but the beaches can get very crowed during the day. It has a lovely charm, lots of people go there in the wintertime from the rest of France. It is very much of a jet-set crowd, and things are fairly expensive inside the town and near the best hotels. The beaches are all topless, and people come from all over the world and stare. |

i only got to go there for a couple of days but it is a very cool place, the public beaches are all pebbles or you can pay a bit to go on ones with imported sand, the people are friendly and if you're there at the right time of year they have markets and things that you can go to. there is also a good train system and it makes it easy to take a short (20minutes to half hour) trip to cannes one way or to go and see monaco and the palaces and stuff in the other direction. hope you have a great trip! |

?

Yes, it's along the French Rivera. The water is so salty and buoyant that you hardly even have to move to stay afloat. There's lots of neat little shops that sell wonderful fresh french bread and wine too. It's best to have someone with you who speaks French too; otherwise it may be difficult to find your way around. After going their, you might want to take a train over to Monaco to view some of the gambling casinos and the luxurious ship yards. |

I've already answer you, but don't forget that rooms in France's hotels are usually small. You must look carefully. Yes, it's true, the beach in Nice is not made by sand, only rocks. So, if you want to go on a beautiful beach, you must pay for a piece of sand in Nice, or go to St. Tropez. |

I visited a friend studying abroad there, so I stayed in her dorm room and don't know much about hotels. But it's definitely worth visiting and it's easy to get to towns like Monaco and Cannes from it. |
