France was lovely, French people treated me as any other people some were great...welcoming friendly others were sniffy and obnoxious....depends where you are, who your with and what you do...if you travel you take the rough with the smooth, when you're visiting anothe country its wise to remember that they are not there for your entertainment and convenience, its not disneyland, its their country and their home

Hi,,, i was there earlier this year,, and had a wonderful time.. the people treated me just fine...... thank you

good luck

Jay
yeah in Paris the people weren't overtly rude, but they weren't nice like in Rome.

They are OK. Small town people are not used to see asian people, but generally they are fine. It is best to try to speak some basic words in French. They appreciate you more if you speak in their language.

I've spent quite a bit of time in France over the past 6 years or so, and have had no problem with French people at all. I had more rudeness in other parts of Europe, in fact. Now, I do speak French, which certainly works to my advantage, but it's only common courtesy to expect to speak the native language when you visit a country.

France was okay, they were okay. But the Parisians are the worst people in Europe and it was the dirtiest city I saw in Europe!

I have and they were very nice. In fact, you know what was annoying... the American tourists who were loud and obnoxious. PS I can say that I am American :)
