Yes, for the last twenty years, and lately the town has become a small city. The new part is full of tall buildings. Good for the town economy but less fun to those who enjoyed the feeling of cosy little town of before. |

Chamonix is so beautiful. It sits in the shadow of Mont Blanc and offers some of the most challenging skiing in Europe. The town is in the centre of a string of villages spread out along a valley cutting deep through the Alps. It is so cool for shopping too. I went to Chamonix, we booked through http://www.scoobit.com if you go there write Chamonix. We went to the first hotel on the right (in the first row).
