No, serioously... I live close to the village (a very small village!!) in question and this is a big joke of the mayor based on the fact that the local cimetery is located on the neighbour village area.... no more!!

There's two mayor in the South-west of France (of the towns of Cugnaux and Sappoureux).
But it was done as a protest against the refusal they got from the gouvernent to let him buy:
1/ for Cugnaux to buy a part of the military Airport to buy land to extend the cemetery
2nd case to buy a private land to extand the cemetary
That's a funny way to say to the gouverment: "OK, you don't accept the extension so that's say that it is banned to dye on my town". I think that's a good way cause I see that you speack about many milles of there !
But don't care we'll find you another place if you'll dye in this two (not interresting) towns !

(but forget the cemetary of Paris that's very expansive ! , the most of dyed people of Paris "choose" cemetary out of Paris ° )
