Yes. Toilets are dirty, indeed, but you have a wonderfull view on Paris and La Defense.
It is not very romantic, you have windows to protect you from wind. If you go to the floor just under, it is open air. and nice as well. You can buy tickets to go on all floors.
I have done it many times with friends and tourists (I am French and live near Paris). I do not like it very much but it is different for my friends who go there for the first time.

sophstar_99
yes it is beautiful but unbelievably high. when i was there a few months ago a guy proposed on the top.

Its a beautiful sight go up during the day, mid-day, and at night it makes a big difference of whats going on in the city...But its an amazing view either way...if you cant get to Paris go to Quebec, Canada its no where even close to Paris views but its also sort of French (since they're French Canadians) but theres great view there too

First stage walkway is interesting. If you go to the top then try to avoid getting in the lift with anyone looking as if they are about to vomit. They usually do.

Mandarin
yes, Paris looks better from higher up. Unfortunately the car was broken into while up there. It's not as romantic as you think. It's rather a gross dirty graffiti'd slummy city and the people in shops are just rude. Dirty, dirty toilets too. My god.

The best view is from a plane.
