A present of something that comes from your part of France would be nice, perhaps wine.

Bonjour. A nice drinkable bottle of wine would be nice or chocolates.

James
take something really french so they actually appreciate it, something you wont find in england, like good food

Mr.Boombastic Mungbean
Take them wine and lots of cheese. We love French cheese in England.

Traditional Provencal chocolates in the shape of cicada bugs are very popular with the anglo-saxons....

Traditional french things.... Wine (Vin)

You do not specify WHERE you are going (UK...USA... CANADA?)
Anything from your area of France will be appreciated... something handcrafted for example (artisanat provençale).
If you are going to the USA, do not try to take things such as cheeses (they will not allow you to take most types of foodstuff into the country, produce and food are not permitted). A good bottle of wine, should get through (but only one) (and wrap it very well (plastique aux bulles) you'd hate to have the clothes in your suitcase ruined with wine and broken glass)...Remember you can no longer take liquids in hand luggage on flights, so most of your extras would have to go into your main suitcase. Another nice gift could be a DVD and or book (en anglais, bien sûr, si tu le trouve) describing your part of France.

hello xo :]
your traditional food! americans love food, and have a BIG smile on your face.

You need a present for their what??? Okay, start off by finding out something that makes you think of them so they don't immediately think you asked someone what they might want. Okay, now can you teach me some French? That would be very nice :)
